Whats in it for you?

Why should you care about a food storage app? Prepping is a movement gaining momentum. Many people are realizing just how precarious their life situation would be if there was a major disaster - some people find out the hard way, such as hurricane Katrina survivors - and they don't want to be at the mercy of others.

Now that you can see there are good reasons to have a food storage, why should you part with your hard earned cash to help create a food storage app? Two reasons: First, you don't want to have all this food stored without knowing what you have, right? Second, if you are like me and hate wasting money, you want an easy to use system to help you know what things are going bad, before they go bad. Wasted food = wasted money.

Why back this project?

Unlike other app projects on KickStarter, this project is more about getting your valuable input about the app's features and design than it is about making money. The goal is set ridiculously low with the hopes that it can be fully funded and people can get the chance to help me make an awesome app.

It is more important to me to get as many people involved in the project as I can, though there is a stretch goal that will allow me to hire a professional designer.
